Demonte Dismuke is a public health practitioner residing in Milwaukee, where he has lived most of his life. He is the creator and host of A Dope Public Health Podcast, which centers around advocacy for health equity of Black and Brown people with a twist of hip-hop.

Demonte credits the Dismuke village lead by his maternal grandparents Peavy & Fatrice Dismuke, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Dr. Maya Angelou for helping him find his passion for community service and public health. 

Demonte holds a bachelor’s degree in human services management from Cardinal Stritch University and has studied clinical mental health and public health at the graduate level.
